Starting from Parashat Vayera in the Migdalor LaTorah (MT4) the original text is being used, divided into smaller manageable units. Each unit starts with a description of its content in simple "everyday" Hebrew, consistent with the level of Hebrew language development of 3rd-grade students (based on the Hebrew Series in the Migdalor Program) often followed by an illustration for classroom discussion prior to dealing with the original text itself. The content of the unit told in simple Hebrew along with its illustration are designed to facilitate learning of the Torah by the young student. Each unit ends with an important verse taken from the original text. Each Parasha in Migdalor LaToah includes a few Agadot, as well.
This workbook includes many lively illustrations, easy and child-friendly learning activities, songs, stickers and more, making learning of the Torah fun, vivid, concrete, effective and enjoyable.
In Parashat Vayera the students learn how to read and understand Rashi in a gradual and systematic manner.
Parashat "Vayera" matches the level of Hebrew in the "Migdalor Readers" parts 2, and 3 A and B. It is recommended to use both series simultaneously to reinforce each other. However, the Migdalor LaTorah books can be taught separately, as well.
Each parasha has a CD with songs from the text and passages read by Hebrew speaking adults and children (to be purchased separately).
